The soundwork is based on recordings made inside the Hagia Sofia museum in Istanbul during its opening hours. It is an attempt to capture the special acoustic situation inside the building. The recording locations are changed between the second balcony and the ground floor under the main dome. We here the guts, the very entrails, of the Hagia resonate with a sense of elegant expansiveness and infrasound boom.
