In Eating Pipe, Mikael Eriksson creates transformations from speech to screams to animals to guts. Attempting to inject piss and shit and spunk into the world of digital sounds, he brings a strange sense of fun, while pursuing his own sense of the beautiful. The still images, from a recent gastroscopy, explore Eriksson’s own recent medical explorations of mysterious pains – apparently, all was as it should have been.
